oooooops....!!

oooooops....!!

A  fart it is a  pleasant  thing,
It gives the belly ease,
It  warms   the  bed in winter,
And suffocates the  fleas.

A  fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some  leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud

A  fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
Some  farts have been known
To sound like a  song……

A  fart can create
A most curious medley,
A fart  can be harmless,
Or silent , and  deadly.

A  fart might not smell,
While others are vile,
A  fart may pass quickly,
Or linger a  while……

A  fart can occur
In a number of places,
And leave  everyone there,
With strange looks on their  faces……..

From  wide-open prairie,
To small elevators,
A fart  will find all of
Us sooner or  later.

[P.S : i am grateful to arpana, aparajita, anuradha and anugraha..all f them….

last weekend i saw a video of russel peters……..speaking one of his jokes he said:
” y’know, blacks in america are called Monday’s.!!”
” u’know why?….”
“because nobody likes Monday’s..!!!
hehehehahahahaha!!!!…

well.. i dont intend to be racist or nything on my blog…
the fact is, i love the human race way too much (be it white, black, pink, cyan..).. to call them a monday…!!

Today is 18 Aug 2008, the longest monday in the history of monday’s….aaaaa!!!
also because it comes after a 3 day long weekend….
oh how i wish monday was a half day at office… 2nd half ie….!!

I arrived late to the office (which is not usual), and it was really depressing to see those smiling faces of my clollegues….
not even a single co-groaner for the day.. 😦  che nasham.!!!

later, i even googled on how to beat the monday blues…
but after reading few of the articles…i felt like crying…!!

Instead of justifying the need for a holiday, the imbecile wants to look at the quality of our working life.

here’s one :

The basic question is, do you enjoy your work?

Do you work wishing you could do something else? Is your work a necessary evil — to earn a living or to fulfil ambition?

1. What and how

What you do is not important, it is how you do it. Whatever you do, do it with deep alertness; then even small things become sacred. You can clean the floor like a robot; you have to clean it, so you clean it.

But it could have been a great experience; you missed it.

You cleaned the floor and that would have cleansed you.
Clean the floor full of awareness; be luminous with awareness. (blaaaahhh.!!!)

2. Remember yourself

One thing has to be a continuous thread: remember yourself.

While walking, say, “I am walking.” While sitting, say, “I am sitting.” (dude…. get a life..!!)

And feel the shift in your awareness. There will be a sudden spark.

3. Are you a perfectionist?

Beware! What counts is being total, not perfect. This brings out the best in you. The very idea of perfectionism drives people crazy.

The perfectionist is bound to be neurotic. S/he cannot enjoy life till s/he is perfect. And perfection never happens, it is not in the nature of things.

Life is imperfect. Only death is perfect. Totality is possible, perfection is not possible. (the only thing thats true.. )

There is a huge difference between perfection and totality. Perfection is a goal for the future, totality is an experience now. If you can get into any act with your whole heart, you are total. Totality brings wholeness, health and sanity.

The perfectionist forgets about totality. There is a big gap between how s/he is and how s/he wants to be.

And, of course, change can’t happen now, it is always tomorrow or the day after. So life is postponed.

These are small tools, but they will help you see the gap between workdays and holidays decreasing. You will eagerly wait for work to begin.

And then you’ll also say: “Thank God it’s Monday!”.   (hahahahahahahahahaaa….. RIGHT..!!!!!)

the WC… hmmm… :) August 5, 2008

In the days when you couldn’t count on a public toilet facility, an English woman was planing a trip to India. She was registered to stay in a guest house owned by the local shoolmaster. She was concerned as to whether the guesthouse contained a WC. In England (now evn in India), a bathroom is commonly called a  WC – or Water Closet. She wrote to the school master inquiring the facilities about the WC.

The Schoolmaster asked the local priest if he knew the meaning of WC. Together, they pondered possible meanings of the letters and concluded that the lady wanted to know if there was a ‘Wayside Chapel’ near the house… A bathroom never entered their minds. So the Schoolmaster replied :

” I take pleasure in informing you that a WC is located nine miles from the house. It is located in the middle of a grove of pine trees, surrounded by lovely grounds. It is capable of holding 229 people and is open on Sundays and Thurdays. As there are many people expected in the summer months, i suggest u arrive early. There is however plenty of standing room. This is an unfortunate situation especially if you are in the habit of going regularly. It may be of some information to you that my daughter was married in the WC as it was there that she met her husband. It was a wonderful event. There were 10 people in evry seat. It was wonderful to see the expressions on their faces. We can take photos in different angles. My wife, sadly, has been ill and unable to go recently. It has been almost a year since she went last, which pains her greatly.

You will be pleased to know that many people bring their lunch and make a day of it…. I would recommend your ladyship to plan to go on a Thursday, as there is an organ accompaniment. The accoustics are excellent and even the most delicate sounds can be heard everywhere… We are holding a bazaar to provide plush seats for all since many feel it is long needed. I look forward to escorting you there myself and seating you in a place where you can be seen by all.”

The woman fainted reading the reply – and never visited India!!!
